Geoff Williamson and his wife Janie, along with the family, operate Caskieben.
Caskieben runs a mixed farming operation consisting of Shorthorn cattle, cropping and irrigated lucerne enterprises at Carisbrook, in the Central Goldfields region of Victoria. The property consists of volcanic soils and alluvial river flats, in a 21” rainfall area.
The family’s focus is to breed registered Shorthorns to provide high performance progeny for today’s markets. At Caskieben, we are passionate about using proven genetics that will improve the quality and performance of the cattle for the commercial breeder.
We also place a high emphasis on the cropping and hay operation and strive to increase grain yields and hay quality to meet the demands of the export and domestic market.
